What we collect, and what we don't.
Short, because there is not much of it. We sell evidence, so it would be a poor look to be vague about our own.
When you contact us
The contact form takes your name, email address, and whatever else you choose to put in it — company, phone, what needs protecting. We keep it so we can answer you and so we remember the conversation if you come back. We also record the IP address the message arrived from, which is how we tell a real inquiry from a bot.
We do not run a mailing list, and we do not sell or share what you send us.
When you read the site
To show prices in your own currency we look up which country your IP address is in. That lookup is made by MaxMind, a third party, which means your IP address is sent to them. We keep a record of each lookup — the address, what came back, and which market you were shown — for 30 days, then it is deleted automatically. We keep it to check that placements are correct and that we are not paying for lookups we should not be.
Being placed in a market only ever changes which prices you are offered. You can switch market yourself at any time, and if you do, we remember that choice in a cookie and stop guessing.
Cookies
Two, both strictly functional: one remembers the market you chose, one keeps you signed in if you have an account. There is no advertising or analytics tracking on this site.
If you are a client
Your dashboard shows judgements about your backups — whether a restore succeeded, when, and what was verified. It deliberately holds no copy of your business data: no invoices, no customer records, no file contents. That is a design decision, not a policy one, and it is the reason a compromise of this platform could not expose your data.

Write to us through the contact form and ask. We will tell you what we hold, and delete it if you would rather we did not.
